High-Performance Filtration Components for Industrial Demands
Industrial Filter Bags
Filter bags are designed to capture and retain airborne particulate matter, effectively controlling dust and pollutant emissions in both indoor environments and external atmospheres. The primary advantages of bag filters are their cost-effectiveness and their versatility across a wide range of industrial sectors.
Custom Bag Filters Bags according to Your Needs
Bag filters are manufactured to order, according to the specific dimensions and technical requirements of each client. The selection of the filter media goes far beyond the nature of the particulate matter to be captured; it must also take into account key process variables directly impacting filtration efficiency and the service life of the filter bags. These factors include: operating temperature, chemical exposure, and the overall conditions of the dust collection and air filtration system.
We work with a wide range of technical fabrics, including polyester, polypropylene, polyacrylonitrile ("acrylic"), aromatic aramid (e.g., Nomex®), PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), fiberglass, 100% PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), among others.
All needlefelt media are supplied with standard finishes such as singed, calendared, and heat-set treatments. Optional surface treatments are available, including: PTFE dip coating (for water and oil repellency), expanded microporous PTFE membrane lamination, and antistatic treatment for explosive dust environments.
Filter Bag Cages for Pulse-Jet Dust Collectors
Filter bag cages play a critical role in pulse-jet filtration systems by supporting the filter bags and maintaining their shape during operation. Also known as support cages for bag filters, these components help ensure efficient particulate capture and consistent system performance. At Mount Hood Filtration, our cages are manufactured with advanced automated equipment, ensuring accurate welds, uniform spacing, and precise alignment of vertical supports and reinforcing rings. This level of precision enhances both mechanical strength and longevity. Cages are available in stainless steel or carbon steel, with surface finishes including galvanizing and epoxy coating, depending on the application environment. A variety of venturi inserts and bottom designs are available to ensure full compatibility with your dust collector configuration.

To accommodate installations in tight or limited-access areas, we offer modular cages, designed in two or three sections to simplify assembly and replacement during maintenance operations.
We specialize in custom-built cages, engineered according to detailed technical specifications, design drawings, or existing samples to meet the specific demands of your dust filtration system.
